The Fish Are Laughing

The Perch are laughing their pectorals off at me. The Salmon are smiling. Between working at the job and slaving away in the yard, I have not been out fishing for a month. Fishes of all kinds are giggled to the gills that the lean mean fishing machine is beached.
The Walleye are delighted down to their dorsals. The lunkers are laughing all along their lateral lines. I've heard reports of great catches of large perch in Saginaw Bay and the St. Mary's River, but not in my cooler. Even the Crappies in Crystal Lake are chuckling.
I can hear the chortle of Catfish, the twitter of trout, now that I can't catch them or trick them. Soon, though, they may be shaking in their scales cause next week I plan to be stalking the bright blue.
After photographing football Saturday, I'm off to Saginaw Bay to fish. Laugh at me will you. I plan on kicking some anal fins.
